He's fast becoming my favorite player.
So many people just stay it's because of his linemates, but I think this year he'l cement himself as a premier player.
40 goals is realistic if he stays healthy. |

He's not quite in Kucherov's league, but he's definitely in the conversation for the best right wings playing now. |

The thing is.. the reason that the defenseman sagged off him and gave him room to snipe that shot far corner was precisely because he can dangle his ass through over half the d in the league. So.. as much as he is growing and not turning over the puck, he's also such a threat with that move that its opening up passing lanes and his shot that is lethal even from bad angles. |

he's one of the most underrated players in the league still. Most people don't think of him as an elite player but he is one. The playoffs last year helped shine the light on him, but he still doesn't get the league wide recognition he should.
That'll probably start to change by the end of this season, he's going to be a PPG player. |
